Default Stainless 1/2" Ball Valves

I just found these on E Bay for $9.99 each and $2.99 shipping. I bought 3 and the shipping was around $4. They have 5 more left.

If the link doesn't work for some reasson the seller is sunifertechllc

Disclaimer: I have no connection to the seller. I just bought stuff from them...

Gonna be building my MLT here pretty soon. Will this size work fine for a cooler, or is 3/8 the preferred size?

Just FYI - the auction description says "reduced port" which means that they do not have a 1/2" full flow opening through the ball. Not necessarily a problem, but if you are trying to optimize flow rate for whirlpooling or something, this may or may not affect your results.

Is there such a thing as "food grade" valves? Not critical, but might want NSF approval on one.
