Default Name That Tune!

No looking up these songs. Whomever can name the most gets to put up the next set:

1. Histories of ages past
Unenlightened shadows cast
Down through all eternity
The crying of humanity.

2. Take a piece of tinsel and put it on the tree
Cut a slab of melon and pretend that you still love me
Carve out a pumpkin and rely on your destiny
Get in your car and cruise the land of the brave and the free

3. White man came across the sea
He brought us pain and misery
He killed our tribes, he killed our creed
He took our game for his own need

4. Throughout the night
When theres no direct light
And a thin veil of clouds
Keeps the stars out of sight

5. Hello me...meet the real me.
And my misfits way of life.
A dark black past is my
Most valued possession.
Hindsight is always 20-20,
But looking back its still a bit fuzzy.
Speak of mutually assured destruction?
Nice story...tell it to readers digest!!!

The first one is familiar, but the rest I've never heard...

I guess I'll just skip the light fandango and pull cartwheels 'cross the floor...

I'm terrible at lyrics, can we do chord progressions next time?

Yeah, how do we post them?
