So I'm close to the bottom of my Nelson Sauvin IPA keg, and I'm finding that I'm pulling a ton of yeast. (see img below)

Do you think this is ready to go as a starter? It's Wyeast Belgian Abby Ale II yeast.

Probably not. Your glass isn't a sanitized environment and if your beer lines are anything like mine...they aren't either. Maybe if you sanitize everything (lines/glass)...maybe?

Sorry, let me rephrase. Tapped the keg about a month ago and I'm still pulling strong yeast.

Do you think that what I'm pulling is viable as a starter for another batch?

I wasn't (obviously) going to take a glass of yeast that I was drinking out of and try to do something with it.

You could certainly use it to make a starter.

Just be aware that you may not get the same great results as the first batch.
