I was going to do a brisket. I walked to the store to get one earlier, and they didn't have any. Like, they literally don't even sell brisket at the @#*$^@ grocery store by my house.

I suppose it's not all bad. I will just go to a proper butcher instead.

Did one of these weekend before last. $72 piece of meat. It was great. Have your butcher bundle it with twine in a log - fold the ends over so it is one uniform thickness. Good luck.

Same weekend smoked 4 racks of baby backs, boston butt (pulled pork), brisket (with RIS gravy!), grilled corn, and ground 2 boston butts into brattwurst. Big meat weekend.

This weekend will probably just be burgs (making kimchee and pretzels, tho).

Doing up a 9lb pork shoulder for pulled pork for a friends party on Saturday, then gonna do a small brisket on Sunday for me and the G/F. Also playing around with smokin some salmon a friend gave us last week on Sunday as well.

Gonna give the smoker a workout this weekend.

Its burgers, corn and a brew day for me. Im sure ill end up smoked by the end of it all though!
Too much homebrew, not enough liver. You know, that old story...

Cut up a few apples and throw them in with the onions and peppers. In an hour they fall apart and are great. Try it!
