This beer has been brewed and consumed numerous times. I have used all kinds of different hops but I think centennial and it's sharp citrus note is the best of the lot for finishing this one. Yep, you read it right, 72 IBU...but nearly half of that is from finishing hops....it is nice and balanced..trust me. It is roasty, malty enough for the dark beer crowd and has enough hop bitterness/aroma to keep the hop heads happy...what more could you ask for? I just put another keg of this on the gas and it is taking every ounce of my willpower to not go pull 32oz frosty mug full.
