I got a new 2.5 gal corny, replaced all the o-rings and did a leak test.

The damn thing is leaking around the plastic part (which doesn't seem to make sense??)

Here's another shot.

Is there anything I can do to fix the leak or is this keg lost?

I know someone who was having a similar leak that turned out to be a pinhole in the steel about 3/4" up under the rubber. They peeled the rubber back and patched the hole with JB-weld, and it works fine now. If you can find the actual leak, you might be able to do the same.

The location of the seepage is right by the post. There's a very good chance it at the base , maybe if got jostled one too many times and developed a crack at the joint? I'd look there first.
