I bought the joy of home winemaking as a beginners book. I would recommend it.

Where is Gowanda?

This was the first book that I purchased. It's by Terry Garey.

The book talks about several varieties of winemaking - juice, fruit and some other stuff.

Two of my favorites are The Alaskan Bootlegger's Bible and Strong Waters, got both of them from Amazon, both are great books.
