Default Adhesives on Keezer (hot/cold)

I'm planning on using velco to secure my temp controller, fans, and temp gauge in/on my chest freezer as a less permanent solution, until I'm able apply some power tools get surgical.

How well does sticky velcro stand up to the hot outside and cold insides? I'm planning on sticking a small fan on the inside of the lid.
