Thought some kindle users may be interested in this book. I personally have not read it, but hey it is free right now.

It is: Beer Is Proof God Loves Us: Reaching for the Soul of Beer and Brewing by Charles Bamforth

Don't know how long it will be free.

Thanks!
I also got "A Tretise on the Brewing of Beer" by E. Hughes for free.

It's a very old book (1796) but still interesting to see that the brewing process that we know today is a very old institution.

I read this about 3 months ago. It is definitely one man's view of the brewing industry. He has some strong opinions about beer that many people do not (he's not so much a hop guy), but it is still fun to see the world through someone else's eyes.

At times he sounds like a cranky old man resistant to change.
