I'm actually going to Los Alamos this weekend for a week and Santa Fe is close enough for a few visits. Glad to see there is a few breweries in the area: http://beeradvocate.com/beerfly/list..._id=US&s_id=NM I'd also like to see recommendations.

Go to Maria's...best Margarita's in the world, a tequila menu with hundreds to choose from, and arguably the best food in Santa Fe. Make reservations, and bring a designated driver.

Also, go to Harry's Roadhouse if you get a chance...fantastic home cooking. Try the Blue Corn Waffles, and don't pass up the scrapple.

The Sleeping Dog Tavern is a nice little brewpub with some excellent house beers and pretty good food.

We went to Santa Fe Brewing Company this afternoon and had a taster sample. 10 beers, all quite good. If you are in Santa Fe and have an hour to kill, it's worth the trip.
