Sign of home brew addiction: kegs become a reasonable "impulse buy" even though you don't have any of the other necessities for kegging, carbing, chilling, or serving from kegs.
I tell myself they're investments!

I price things in terms of 5 gal batches. Like gas and groceries.

I walked passed an elderly man with a large backpack oxygen tank, and I wondered "Man where can I get one of those. My yeast would love it."

Sitting at this trendy wine bar for SWMBO's friend's birthday, I passed the time sipping my St. Benardus' Wit and thinking how I could use the funky vases to ferment 2-3gal trial batches... They'd both fit perfectly in my ferm fridge at the same time!

"All your home brew are belong to us!"

Wait. You're not talking about beer, right?
You're talking about beer. That could have been a whole lot more fun.

Sounds familiar. I tried to claim dibs on the O2 tanks SWMBOs grandmother had before she died recently. And then the nursing home decided to take them all back...

You stop buying Ninkasi beers because their labels are so damn hard to get off. Just kidding, I still buy it.

- Hoping to have a girl friend who likes my beer, so I can brew more often.

- Hoping to not have a girl friend, so I can continue brewing.

- Wanting to buy a high end expresso machine, so I can get a good head of crema.

- Thinking about the beer hobby all the time.

- So there was an earthquake.

- So there was another earthquake.
