Made a batch on Sunday and pitched S04 directly into wort. After 16 hours of lag phase I had a heathly krausen build up. 1.5 days later the krausen was completely gone. It is the first time I am using S04 and never seen krausen disappear so fast. Is this typical behaviour?
I am still letting it sit for at least 2 weeks and of course will check gravity.
