Default Same problem with flat larger

Hi, me and a friend are poor students so decided to have a bash at home brewing, we went to a local super market and got a cheap kit (brew buddy).

Just started to drink our second batch and we've got the same problem, our larger is flat. After the first time was flat (but tasty enough) we made doubly sure the cap and o-ring on the pressure barrel were lubed up with vaseline, but its still gone flat.

We have seen for sale CO2 injectors for the top of barrels, but thought they were extras and not necessary (as our home brew larger kit didnt come with one).

Any advise would be great.

So you're trying to serve your beer from the pressure barrel, not bottling? Without some means of co2 being generated or forced in (via the co2 injector) in the barrel, or priming and bottling your beer it will be flat.

The easiest thing would be just to go get that injector and follow the instructions.

There should have also been instruction on how to naturally carb in there or at least how to properly bottle. You have to do something, fermenting beer, although it has some co2 in it is far from carbonated. There's extra steps involved as you can now see.

And it's lager, not larger.... Larger is bigger
