k, well after last weekend’s near disaster, i am going to get back on the horse and try my 2nd all-grain batch this saturday. Please comment on my recipe. I am going for a medium bodied hoppy (but not bitter)IPA...does this look good?

Sounds like you like Black Sabbath. Sweet Leaf. But it looks good, it's going to be bitter and have a lot of hop flavor and aroma. Good IPA. Should have some nice character to it.

Ok, just pitched my yeast. My efficiency was only 50%..is that really bad for a batch sparge? I had the awful stuck mash last week that i could not get going, so milled my grains at the .40 setting this time. Mash and sparge drained like a charm...but my OG ended up at only 1.046 instead target og of 1.051....i am guessing my eff. was so bad because of milling the gRains less fine?
