Default Maltodextrin

I have a recipe for a Double Chocolate Stout that calls for 1/2 lb of MALTODEXTRIN.

I have some that has been laying around since mid January.

Should I use it?

Should I buy some fresh and toss the old?

Or should I just forget the whole thing?

Stuff isn't gonna go bad, so why wouldn't you use it?

Agreed, I think it has a VERY long shelf life.

Thanks all. As long as it's still good might as well get rid of it and make room for something else in the supply cabinet.
