Default Dogfish Head's "The Randall"

This is Dogfish Head's "The Randall". They'll break it out on request as long as you give them a heads up. If you can't tell from the photo, it's basically just an in-line dry-hopper (with citra hops), and they normally use it on the 90-minute but will put it on others. The bartender gave me a sample, and it was outstanding.

I believe the 2nd chamber is there to put a second set of hops in to blend. It's empty in this case. Sounds brilliant to me

A lot of breweries are using these at "beer fests" and the like. Man the aroma is just amazing coming off a randalized brew.

I doubt they're that hard to construct. Looks like a a pretty standard water filter housing that happens to be clear to show all the hop goodness

The other night, using a DFH Randall, we infused the Shipyard Pumpkin Head with chocolate chips and donut holes. Amazing results! http://www.wickedlost.com/randall-th...mal-1/general/

In beer wars there's a shot of sam with what he calls "randall the enamel animal", it was nothing more than a home water filter housing filled with hops. Not bashing it, was a great idea and easy to build.
