A nice a Scottish Ale brewed with Heather...

6lbs. Gold LME
1.5lbs. Golden Promise
8oz. Carapils/Dextrine
4oz. Caramel/Crystal Malt - 20L
8oz. Melanoidin Malt
2oz. Light Roasted Barley

1oz. Kent Golding (60min. boil)
Edinburgh Ale Yeast


Mash at 155 for 60min.
Sparge 170 water
1cup of Heather Tips for 60min. boil
1cup of Heather Tips at burnout
Sparge freshly cooled wort over 1cup of Heather Tips into primary

OG - 1.056
FG - 1.015
SRM - 10(Gold to Copper)
IBU - 16.9
ABV - 5.5%
