This one was meant to be an americanized take on a classic Irish Red, hence the oz of cascade. I brewed it for a party of about half BMC drinkers and half craft beer drinkers with a couple of home brewers mixed in. The recipe was really formulated to use up a few odds and ends of hops and grains I had laying around the house, so I was really surprised about how much everyone liked it. Those that knew better said it was one of my best and I have to agree. It's going to become one of my main "keep around the house" beers. Not bad for leftovers.
