Default Gelatin finings

So I'm going to rack my primaries into the carboys today and I came across a package of gelatin finings from about ten years ago. I wasn't going to bother with any clearing agents but since I have this stuff on hand, why not use it? And there is the question. After ten years or so, should I use it?
