I found a stout recipe in that section, but it's for all grain. Could someone convert to a mini-mash or extract, I prefer a mini-mash.
Thanks in advance.

Here's my partial mash for a stout. If you want a specific recipe from the recipe section, please specify which one you want.

McKenna's Red Irish Stout

Partial Mash

Ingredients:

7 lbs. Light or Amber liquid malt extract

2 lbs Pale Malt
1 lb. Crystal 40L
.5 lbs. Flaked barley
.5 lbs. Roasted barley
.5 lbs. Belgian Special-B
.5 lbs. Chocolate

8 oz.(0.5 lb) Malto-Dextrine

2 oz. Northern Brewer 50 minute boil
1 oz. Cascade 15 minute boil

WLP004 Irish Ale Yeast

Steep grains in 2 gal. of water at 150º to 170º and let grains steep 45 min. Wring out grain bag and remove. Sparge with 3 gal 170º water until it runs clear.

Add extracts and maltodextrin and bring to a boil. Add northern brewer hops and boil for 35 min. Add cascade and boil 15 min. Cool wort, aerate and add to fermentor. Top off up to 5.25 gal if necessary.

Ha... I saw that thread, and I thought to myself... "That's just what the Inquisition said to me..."

Nevermind, this should probably be in the Drunken thread...

Easy.

Decide how much grain you want to mash then replace what's left of the Maris with 0.8 times the amount of Pale LME. (Not sure on the mashing of flaked barley though)

1 lb grain = .75 lb LME = .6 lb DME
