After your wort has cooled to around 70, shake it up really good and throw it in

It' s a good practice to have your yeast the same temp as the wort, I always have put the yeast pack or vial in my pocket at the start of the boil.
also I spray the yeast pack or vial with san star prior to pitching
ps,, I don't use smack-packs
