6 lbs. gold LME
1 lb. light DME
2 lb. Caramel 60 L
1 lb. Special B
2 lb. Dark Brown sugar at flameout
2 oz cascade hop pellets 5% at boil
1 oz cascade hop pellets 5% 10 minutes remaining
yeast Safale S-04

The specs should be (if i calculated right)
OG 1.075-1.090
FG 1.010-1.018
IBU 52
ABV 6-8%

What style would this be IPA or Brown Ale, I'm thinking more Brown Ale because of the lack of hoppiness. Name it for me also. If it turns out good, i might enter this recipe in contest. It may be horrible too. Don't know. it is an extract recipe that i came up with. i am new to brewing so be easy on me. (first time brewer, long time drinker). i do have a stout in the secondary right now, i'm planning another batch.

Reason: wrong grain listed in original

I'd just call it an American Strong Ale, it really doesn't fit anywhere else. To be a brown ale you'd have to have a lower gravity and some dark malt. To be an double IPA you'd need more hops.
