Hi, I need a book that teaches me about electricity and wiring, I know nothing so an absolute beginner book would be good. Please help save my life and recommend a good book!

Complete Guide to Home Wiring Comprehensive http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Guide.../dp/0865734291 is a good starter on the basics. It definitely helped me out.

Now for the disclaimer:
Be aware that electricity can be tricky in that even improperly/dangerously wired devices may "work" but can result in serious issues including death, especially in the presence of water. If you are at all unsure of your skills hire an electrician.
