Update:
OK nothing yet regarding the quote, but our buyer is on it. Apparently he only gets his quotes done through one person, so extraneous factors can cause a delay for several days (vacation, sickness, holidays, etc.).

The current plan is that he is out Friday so if he hasn't heard anything by Monday, he will call in to force some status on our behalf.

Will keep everyone posted.

I will update the status on page one of this thread.

FUTURE ORDERS

For those who missed this order, but would like to be considered/notified of a future order, please PM me your interest or post it to this thread. Once we get about half of the order in, I would be willing to restart a new thread, or add to this one for another buy. Send in the code for what you want and the quantity to make it easier for me to track.

Thanks

That is hilarious - me and a buddy are brewing arrogant B this weekend as well. I brewed the extract kit before and it came out pretty good (used C120 for specialty grains). This time I have special B and going to hit it with a BIAB unless my buddies mash tun gets here by friday (his "group investment"). What recipe are you going with for your AB brew?

Thinking Ahead

Paypal will take 3-5 days to process a transaction in your paypal account (unless you have funds in your account to cover the transaction).

If you want to help expedite this order:
1. Add funds to your account now (for slightly more than you think your order cost will be).
2. If everyone does this, we will get the order out faster, thus you will have your grain faster.

OR

3. Add a credit card to your accout to back up your purchase (this supposedly gives an instant transaction as well). PLease note I did this but when I ordered from hops direct, it didn't work and it pushed my order out 5 business days longer than it should have. Suckers at paypal!!

However if one person doesn't do this, we will be waiting on the order anyhow

Just a heads up, I won't be crying it I have to wait another week once we get the invoice, I have plenty of beer rolling in my fermenters right now

I was going to brew that one, but I listened to the brew network podcast "can you brew it" and they came up with a different recipe and deemed it "cloned". You will have to let me know how yours turns out.

Here is the "officially cloned" recipe from the podcast (I adjusted for a 60 minute boil):

Yeast is WL007 or 002 I believe - says in the podcast, but didn't note it b/c I think I am using WL051
13.5lbs Pale Malt 2 Row
1.5lbs Special B
~1oz Chinook (60)
~1oz Chinook (45)
~1oz Chinook (15)
~1oz Chinook (0)

Mash at 148F for 60mins
S.G. 1.075
F.G. 1.019

If interested in the pdcast, check this out:

http://www.thebrewingnetwork.com/shows/697

We can compare notes on how it turned out for each version!

Don't have the final invoice yet - so no need to pay up (we don't know the true amount you each owe).

I must have mis-communicated a little bit - you guys aren't paying me (bmud0314) did pay me by mistake. I will hold his payment and pay for his bags when get get the invoice (I will credit him the difference at that point)

I will email everyone the buyer's email address for payment when I get the invoice from the him (hopefully today) or on Monday. Unfortunately, we still have not received it from NCM yet.
