Default Accidentally used the whole pack of montrachet yeast for a one gallon batch

Im making a one gallon test batch of white grape juice and some sugar. Kind of like Ed-Worts recipe.

I never really thought about it and used the whole pack for the one gallon growler.
Will that just make it a little extra yeasty? Or was that OK?

Normally I believe it states in literature that for any batch from one gallon to five gallons to use a whole packet.

Ya, they reproduce a bunch anyway before getting to work. It shouldn't be a problem

No problem what so ever. The higher yeast count probably helped the fermentation start faster.
At less than a buck, I used whole packages in my one gallon apple wines.

awesome. yeah I have another growler now as I save them from all the chicken wings and hot sauce I eat.

So the growler has printed in glass on the side "Red Hot".

Im thinking about making a spicy beer for a test in that growler lol.

Also thinking about a small batch of mead I can hide away and not worry about drinking. But I havent quite found a recipe id like. Never made mead before.
