I made it last year. the partial grain version. The body seems approximate, but was lacking a definite fruitiness in the end. I think it was due to the yeast. I used the recommended, but it was not terribly close.

Acceptable beer overall, and better than a number of American Oktoberfests (so say my tasters), but not Ayinger.
