as I racked the batch. What I poured was from the bottom swill after siphoning with all the hop and yeast sediment. It actually wasn't bad for all that. Bitter... very very bitter, but I bet a clean draw wouldn't be quite so bad and I figure it will mellow out with age. I might build on this recipie though, tone down bitterness, add a bit of flavor hops, and beef up the malt.
