Really nice IPA. Orangey hops (El Dorado), sweet, tea like malts, lingering bitter finish. Super tasty.
Isn't that a smoked IPA? How is the smokey flavor?

Brown was a great choice of style since with your roastier dark beers I find the competition between roast/coffee and the other subtler flavors to be distracting. With a brown there's a nice caramel sweetness that just harmonizes much better with the subtler flavors than roast/coffee does.
You recall how much you paid for this Nuke? I almost grabbed a bottle last night.. It's the only thing with Terrapin on it that i have ever seen around here.. it's about $5.49 for a 22 oz bottle here which isn't too bad either.

$5.50 sounds like a steal. Terrapin special bombers start around $9 here.

That's what I thought. Thanks I'll grab a couple on the trip home today. It was a collaboration brew and said distributed out of New York (no offense New York folks ) So I steered clear of it.

remember the old tv commercials about the salsa made in "New York City"

damn i'm old....

Just finished making dessert for tonight. Chocolate mousse topped with a raspberry white chocolate mousse and fresh raspberries.

*edit* - I like a nice, light dessert. Saves room for beer!
