Well, halfway through this Pliny, and I am already feeling "warm". Loving this. Especially after a rough 3 1/2 days haha. Nice to be home enjoying a beer. What's everyone else drinking tonight??

Having a few Blue Moons while I relax from a long trip. It's not great beer, but it's better than nothing.

I love Narwhal. Save a couple and age them for a while. It gets even better with time. Anyone got a clone for this?

Had some Ribena with some fish n' chips for dinner. I used to down that stuff by the gallon as a kid. There's a local Irish chef who opened a damned good fish n' chips place, and one of the few places I've seen carry Ribena on this side of the ocean (well, Giant carries bottles of concentrate in their British part of the "Ethnic" section- as a buddy puts it, he's a real immigrant now- but they want $9 a bottle for it). If you haven't had it, you're missing out.

Now I cracked open a bottle of my Brett Tripel. Been a few months since I've tried it. So I'm tasting along with notes from a competition (entered at 16E, and took 2nd of 28 in the Belgian/French category).

The Narwhal is pretty awesome. Not too hot for 10%, with a super smooth roasty flavor. Not too much coffee, but more chocolate. I have one nostril that isnt really working right now, but I can still smell this great beer over it. I only bought a single. I think Ill be back to buy a 4 pack. Good stuff

Get two (or three), age some bottles. I really liked the Narwhal too, really good. I'm looking forward to the bottles I've shelved.
