Killed my second cup of coffee While cleanin the micro brew FV once more & wiped it dry. Got out my grain bags & yeast from the fridge to warm a bit. Makin a PM pale ale with super alpha bittering, motueka & pacifica flavor/aroma hops. Copped a pound of 5 different NZ hops when midwest had'em on sale. Descriptions sounded tasty.

Yep, that's the one. If I know your penchant for hops at all, you're going to dig it. Also, I forgot to mention to you personally that I really enjoyed your Moon Hill pumpkin ale. Quality brew.

Good, I'm looking forward to trying it! Glad ya liked Moon Hill. I can't take all the credit, Onipar (member here) created the original recipe last year, we both brewed it and traded. Then came up with a few tweaks for this years'. I was pretty happy with how this years' turned out, it's a lot like New Holland's Ichabod, simply by chance. I'd never had Ichabod until a few weeks ago.

Nice. I might be asking you for the recipe so I can brew it next year. I've got my brew scheduled filled up until the end of January so pumpkin will be way out of season by then. I've never had New Holland anything. Is that a local in your area?

I put away a 6'er of Schlafly's APA while bottling a batch of Irish Red last night, good stuff. It's as hoppy as some IPA's I've had.

Forgot to post this before I finished drinking it, but it was damn tasty. Saving one for a vertical tasting in at least one year, but hopefully I have enough patience to accumulate three or four year's worth.

This week's lineup consisted of Heretic Shallow Grave, Heretic Evil Twin, Bruery Five Golden Rings, 2011 Deschutes Abyss, Deschutes Jubeale, Sierra Pale Ale, He'brew Hop Manna and of course Pliney...after looking at that, no wonder the waistlines been growing!

Here's the link to this years' recipe. I should probably update the thread since I've been drinking more of it.
New Holland's from MI, but they make very good beer. I like their Hatter IPAs a lot, their Dragon's Milk RIS is really good too. Check 'em out, if you're interested in any I'll send them to you.

Oh right! I'm dumb, I've totally had New Holland. I had the Dragon's Milk while I was down in Virginia. I had forgotten that New Holland brewed that. That was one of the best IRSs I've had to date. Thanks for the link.

Max's Fanno Creek IPA. Grabbed a growler of it yesterday. Pretty decent with very nice balance.
