Default Red Hook Mudslinger

Tried this last night. One of the worst beers I've purchased in a long time. Very thin tasting, no malty caramel as advertised, a bit of a bite on the backend. I've got a friend who loves it. Did I get a bad 6'er or does anyone else think the same?

I'm not a big fan of Red Hook, I tried some and agreed that it was thin.
