Default Belgian Tripel Trouble

Just got a new kit for Christmas this year and decided to brew a Belgian Tripel with my mad excitement to get going, I neglected to read the full instructions that recommended I use a yeast starter...I used only one of the recommended Wyeast smack packs for a five gallon brew.

The OG was 1.076...the fermentation seems to be going well...Hydrometer reading last night was 1.032 @ 70 degrees.

Am I going to have problems with carbonation or a sweet taste? If so, what can I do to prevent this before racking to secondary or before bottling?

Thanks...Just joined the forum today!

Throw all the yeast that the recipe calls for. One pack sounds right to me.

Yeast Starters are great. They make the fermentation take off quickly, you should be alright since your fermentation is going. Your beer should be great.

This beer making thing, watch is addictive.
