Its fast and there is no waste from excessive head getting poured off...maybe not a big deal for a kegerator, but I can see how that would save a lot of money.

Just as cool as the Japanese beer dispensing machines in the airports throughout Japan. Theirs is a tilt and pour.

We saw that contraption at the AB-Inbev convention back in October in New Orleans. It actually worked good but the cost of the equipment and the cups would turn off a lot of retailers. They had several units around the convention center and they always drew a crowd.

Hmmmm, that's the first thing I was looking for. Looked a second time even with my glasses on I don't really see any beer on the counter top. Would definitely be more than that if she was pouring them that fast with the standard tap.......

Edit- unless you meant to say ....there is NO beer left on the countertop...

That little disc on the bottom is held down by a magnet when it's taken off the filler. The guy who invented it gives the dispenser away for free and charges for the cups. There was some nice info about this thing on Reddit, but I don't feel like looking for the post right now.
