Hope none of you spent much time brewing brown ales for this here competition cuz I just put the winner in the fermenter.

Let's compare feedback - I'm entering a brown that scored 45/50 at the 2010 AZ statewide comp.

When did this thread turn into the Obnoxious HBT Comp Trash Talk thread?

I don't even know what I'm entering yet...I need to look at the prize thread and see what prizes I really want. I'll probably just go ahead make a thread in the classified section on the Blichman Boilermaker since I don't need a 15 gal.

I'm finally looking at the entry sheet for my Cat23A Black IPA and can't figure out what "special" information I'm supposed to be providing. Anybody help out?

I've got my brewer's number, the rest is a little confusing to me. And yes, I work for the government...

"Black IPA" is descriptive enough. If you want you can say you were going for the "you wouldn't know it was black if your eyes were closed" version or the "it's actually a little roasty" version.
