Default Substitute Wheat DME for wheat LME?

I am looking to brew a Honey Weizen, similar to Northern Brewers recipe, and it calls for 6 lbs of Wheat liquid extract. My LHBS only carries dry wheat extract. Can I use 6 lbs of dry extraxt and achieve the same results?

You can actually get away with less. LME has water so you can get away with about 25% less DME by weight.

How did your brew come out with all DME?

Did you use 5 lbs?

I used less than the 6lbs of LME in the original recipe, about 5lbs I would say. I came out great.
