Is anyone in the area interested in getting enough people together to get a pallet together? I don't have the best spot to do it but if anyone has a local business or something we could figure something out.

I'm tired of paying $50 for a sack of 2-row. Seeing the prices on these group buys really makes me want to see one of these happen.

Let me know if your interested and we'll see what we can come up with.

What are the prices like per sack? I'm in Pittsfield & could use 4-6 sacks depending on cost.

Have you talked to Kevin, at the newish place up on North Street? He's done pretty well by me when I've ordered a full sack. About time I got another one, actually.

I just bought 2 sacks from the LHBS, but I could probably go for another 1 or 2, depending on cost.

Here is the most up to date pricing sheet I can find. I think they almost all ship in 55 lb bags. The prices vary from Canadian 2-Row for $.45/lb ($24.75/55lb bag) to Thomas Fawcett Maris Otter for $.71/lb. I think the delivery cost will be $3-4 per bag depending on the lift gate charge they talk about on the shipping section. I would definitely like to get some more people here who want to get in on this. Seems like we may have 10-12 including mine, only about 30 more. If there is some more interest soon we can start a separate thread and start this up!

If It helps anyone I drive from Worcester area to Newark NJ once a week. I could drop a few here and there off anywhere along my way. I take I84 to I91 to the Merritt Pkwy. to the GW Bridge to the NJTP. Hope that might help somebody out there.

I don't think that NCM is accepting new homebrew orders. Unless someone who has ordered from them in the past 9 mo (was that three months ago they made that announcement?).

Kevin is getting 70.00 + tax / 55 lb sack for 2 row (unless you get special pricing?).
Group purchase = under 30.00 including the tailgate fee!
