I'll mix it up and give 2 thumbs up for the 1084. I made an IPA with it this summer and it was amazing! The subtle fruitiness from the 1084 mixed with the malt and the hops and gave it a great flavor and aroma. It seemed to mellow the bitterness but elevate the hoppiness. I like it so much I'm using 1084 in the Black IPA/American Dark Ale/CDA that I brewed yesterday. 1084 can be pretty attenuative, so keep an eye on your mash temp if you don't want it to dry out too much.
