Hmm. The Mr. Beer fermenter has been long neglected. Could be fun...

Hellz Yeah!
I don't have one of these, but they sell them at the neighborhood BevMo.
I'll have to use my monthly commercial beer allowance, but this is worth it.
Count me in for something wicked.

thing is...
I know that this is just so you can score some plastic Mr. Beer Bottles.
Admit it.
You'll feel better.

:P

Sounds like fun but I have some questions:
1. You state "other sugars" can be used. Can these be from malt?
2. Can I add additional hops?
3. Can I use whirlfloc?
4. Can I use gelatin?

I started with Mr. Beer years ago so this sounds like a lot of fun.

1.Yes you can steep grains or candi, brown, cane maple syrup ect
2. yes you can use additional hops if you choose
3.yes
4.yes

I would say use your best judgement on this one guys, the idea is to have some "mr beer" beers not a full blown decoction AG batch with a pinch of mr beer LME added.....And may the best Mr Beer win!
