Hi all....I know this may sound stupid.......but what is the difference between light and dark Munich? I have 2lbs of Munich in 1lb bags. However, they appear to look the same to me and the package on the light Munich says '10L' and on the dark it says " 8.1-9.9 L"........What's the scoop? Thanks

8.1-9.9L is the color of Weyermann Munich II, 10L is probably American. The German stuff is better.

Here's a good thread I started back in March. I had some Munich questions of my own.

Dark Munich is usually between 15 and 20L.
