WHen I made 10 gallons i barely had any smell.... i wonder why...

Maybe different yeast. Maybe your airlock was sealed better. Maybe your brew area has better ventilation. Maybe your temperature was different. Maybe your juice had more nutrient in it. Maybe you made a starter and he didn't, or maybe vice versa.

Maybe a ninja rhino snuck into his bathroom for a sneaky "deuce".
