Default Natural Carbing Question

I know you use half the amount of sugar you would use for bottling but do how much water do you boil that amount of sugar in?
Still the same amount as you would for bottling, 2 cups?

I use one cup. You just need enough water to allow the sugar to dissolve.

Nope. It'll be fine. That's no different than what you dilute 5 gallons of bottled beer with.

I use only one cup because it's enough and it cools that much quicker and I'm very impatient.
