Default too hoppy??

i'm messing around with beersmith trying to get an ipa recipe (extract with steeping grains). does this seem too hoppy for an american ipa?

7.00 lb Light Dry Extract (8.0 SRM) Dry Extract 84.85 %
1.00 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt - 60L (60.0 SRM) Grain 12.12 % steeped at 160 20 mins
0.25 lb Pale Malt, Maris Otter (3.0 SRM) Grain 3.03 % steeped at 160 20 mins
1.00 oz Columbus (Tomahawk) [14.00 %] (60 min) Hops 29.6 IBU
1.00 oz Chinook [13.00 %] (30 min) Hops 21.1 IBU

I doubt you'll find many who say "too hoppy". Personally I find that the flavor contributions by the late-hop additions are more to the point than a strict IBU count. If you like Centennial and Chinook, then go for it!

I would move your 30min hop addition. The only thing you get from that will be bitterness. No flavor or aroma. If you need the IBU's maybe you can add a bit more at the 60min. Other then that I don't think there is such a thing as too hoppy
