So I finished a tripel however I missed my OG. It needs to be about 1.08 however I was at 1.073... Well mixed, no trouble with the hydrometer, I simply goofed somewhere in the candi sugar department. Could this corrected by adding a portion of boiled then cooled dextrose to the fermentor? (I amsuimg it would be ok since this is similar to bottling techniques.)

Personally, I'd just leave it as is, but if you want to get to 1.08, I'd go with 1lb of honey added at high krausen. IIRC, honey is relatively safe to add directly to the brew without risk of infection so it makes it a little easier and shouldn't effect your flavor.
