Default Duvel Clone Questions

I brewed a batch of the duvel clone from BYO's Clone issue. Put in primary last Sat. Everything's swell but just have a few questions. The recipe calls for additional sugar and yeast nutrient (dosage). Does that mean that I boil up the additional sugar and nutrient, let it cool down to 68 and then add to the secondary after I've dumped off (I have a conical).?

Primary: Westmalle Dubbel Secondary: Forbidden fruit Bottled: Delirium Tremens Drinking: Tommyknocker Maple Nut brown Clone

5 Gallon Secondary: Empty
Bottled & Drinking: Holiday Ale, Pale Rye Ale, Bridgeport ESB Clone project v1.0
Bottled & Conditioning: Michael Richards' NOT Racist Ale
