hey guys,

in the process of the new rig. i am a little confused about what goes from the burner to the pipe. the 10" i was looking at does not come with a orifice. I was looking on morebeer's site and they have some things that go from burner to pipe it looks like..

http://morebeer.com/search/102341//all

i tried emailing them but i've gotten no response in a while. Can someone explain the connections from burner to manifold?

TIA,

M

which burner do you have? if its the 10" banjo burner they typically come with the orifice which has a 3/8" flare fitting that you can just connect copper tube to (you need a flare tool)

depends on how you want to hook it up, if I were doing it I would get the following:

" 1/8" Male NPT x 3/8" Male Gas Flare 90° Gas Orifice, with #61 drilled orifice, or specify desired orifice size"

you will need some copper tube and a flare tool, and the brass female flare fitting that goes on the copper tube before you flare it

FYI the banjo burners from nothhern brewer used to come with the orifice (straight not 90 degree), and $7.99 flat rate shipping (even if you buy 3)....you may want to email them and inquire

I just received 4 of the bg-14 from agrisupply and they do come with a high pressure propane orifice. I to emailed beforehand and Gene in customer service confirmed that they did in fact have the orifice before I purchased.
