The other thing I noticed when setting mine up recently is that it helps to have stuff in your freezer. I got a new freezer and new temp. controller and wanted to get it up and running right away. Was seeing pretty wild swings on an empty freezer as the cooling would overshoot my mark by 4-5 degrees. But, Once I put several cased of beer in there (until I had a couple fermenters to put in there) the temps stayed much more steady.

Ivd heard that about chest freezers. From my understaning people will put a CPU fan somwhere in the freezer to circulate the air. This will give you a more consistent temp throughout your freezer

So I just bought a JC A419 controller and I have set it like the instructions said, so my kegarator (I bought a Danby mini fridge and did the conversion myself) and it is basically running like normal, like I don't even have the Controller installed. I have it set at 33* with a 2* diff, it is set for cooling because I am using this as a keg fridge. I also have the probe inside a bottle of water like the Home Brew store suggested If y'all have some insight I would appreciate it, thanks!
