1 ea White Labs WLP007 Dry English Ale, 1 L starter.


Mash in - Liquor: 2.34 gal; Strike: 159.59 °F; Target: 149 °F Hold for 60 minutes
Untitled Step - Sparge Volume: 5.78 gal; Sparge Temperature: 168.0 °F; Runoff: 7.03 gal Fly sparge 60 minutes.

This is a very session-able blonde ale, light and crisp with some subtle citrusy hop character and a nice mild bready malt profile. This is what we drink when we're drinking all day. At 4% you can have a few pints without being totally trashed, makes for great football watching beer.



Be sure to scale the base malt for your system's efficiency. I get in the mid-high 70's when doing ten gallon batches, and this recipe is scaled accordingly.
