Default Pumpkin Ale Question

When would you introduce the pumpkin into the brew process ? Just received my kit from Austin and it does mention optional use of fresh or canned pumpkin but nowhere in the directions does it say when to put the pumpkin in.

So Im guessing in the last 15 min of the boil, would that be correct ? Or in the secondary ?

Put it in your grain bag at the start

I tried it in my grain bag, but it all desolves out. Don't waste your time with the bag if you are using canned pumpkin. Don't forget to bake the canned pumpkin on a cookie sheet. It will render a better flavor.

Use grain bag, bake fresh pumpkin, put into wort. I've heard that turns out pretty good
