Thanks ChshreCat, I might just do it for S&G's. Trying to decide what a honey ale falls in 6B or 23?

I'd go with 23. Just make sure to specify that it's an American Blonde brewed with Honey. Always give the judges at much information as possible about your beer.

There's still time, brew now, BREW NOW!!!!

I'm looking to take the Wood Aged category with my crazy maple scottish ale, aged 6-mo on maple chips. I even signed up for a Premium membership so I don't miss the entry window...

+1 unless you're brewing a barley wine or something, there's time to brew now.

No, but we're looking at at least 90 days out at this point. We're working out some dates/times/places/judges at the moment.

I'd judge if it were reasonably close to KC and I am in the country (read not september or the first 2/3 of October). Thanks to that blistering 7 month BJCP grading time I am now certified and everything.

I'd also enter a bunch of beers if getting the number of entries up is desired, but it was capped last year and I enter enough competitions I don't want to take a spot from someone who is maybe entering their first comp.

Definitely gonna try to enter this time. Kinda glad to hear Yooper say its at least a month or more out. I feel my winter (heavier) beers are my best and I'll have them ready by then for sure.
