I may be in depending on the dates and if I can brew something for it.

I'd probably be interested if for nothing else than some honest and helpful feedback.

Any idea what sort of costs we'd be looking at for entry? (ballpark figure is fine).

Hell, I'd probably do this one and brew something else for the next NHC...
Well, the NHC is due when? March? IF we do this, it'll be way before then.

That would leave a good 8-10 week window to brew entries. Just my guess.
It would be quite a bit of advance notice. Just registering for the comp takes time, and then setting it up takes even more time. Last year the judging was in October, but we started working on it by April. This year, we haven't even started.

There are conversations happening about it, so I'm not ignoring your thoughts. I'm just unsure if we can make it happen this year.

luckily I'll have a few things that will be good to go in october.

i mean, if we get this settled by last week in august, there's still plenty of time left in the year for brewing/judging.

IIRC, the judging was in October last year, and I agree that the competition as a whole was a good thing for the site. I believe that with a few modifications, it could be accomplished again this year.

It was a great comp last year and I'd love to do it again, but I'll also be completely understanding if it doesn't happen again this year.
